Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types Use .split() and .join()

I do not understand where my syntax is wrong..

I think it's saying my syntax is wrong. I just do not know where

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}."
menu.format(', '.join(sundaes))

3 Answers

if you combine the last two lines like this, it should pass.

menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(', '.join(sundaes))

Thank you very much for your help! It worked

You could also re-assign the menu variable on the last line if you wanted to do them as two separate lines.

menu = menu.format(...)
