I don't have an HTML file called index in my downloads. Only index.php. Did I miss something?

Cannot find index.html in download file. I have gone through all the folders and it is not there. I am working on WAMP where I moved all the files as the course suggested but somehow I don't find the index.html file. Any suggestions?

WordPress uses index.php instead of index.html. All this means is that there is PHP embedded within the HTML; otherwise it works as a .html file does.

If you're looking for the index.html, and not index.php in these download files, you will find it in the static-theme folder.
