I don't know how to create a variable name? The next video explains how and I'm having trouble getting past this video.

Here's what I've written so far:

var message = "myName";

scripts.js
var message = "myName";
index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
  <title>JavaScript Basics</title>
</head>
<body>
<script src="scripts.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

The challenge first asks you to create a variable called "myName" but to leave it blank. The variable that you have set up is called message and it contains a string called "myName".

var message = "myName";

To leave it blank, you can just remove the equals sign, then everything after that, apart from the semi-colon. So it would look something like this:

var myName;

However the second part of the code challenge is to apply a string to the variable, so as the variable is called myName, why not put your name in there?

e.g.

var myName = "Karinna";

Hope this helps!
