I don't know how to make these into links

The HTML <a> element (or anchor element) creates a hyperlink to other web pages, files, locations within the same page, email addresses, or any other URL. (from MDN HTML href info on the <a> anchor tag. I am assuming that you are referring to the list items in this example. In order to make them into links, you have to nest the text with the <li> in <a> tags and declare an href, link location, to the href. Like this <li><a href='#'>List item text</a></li>.

Always use an anchor tag to create a link. If you want your list items <li> to be a link then it will look something like this. <li><a href='#'>Cakes</a></li> <li><a href='#'>Pies</a></li> <li><a href='#'>Candy</a></li>
