Python Functions, Packing, and Unpacking Getting Info In and Out of Functions Functions with Arguments and Returns

I dont know how to write a function that returns "hello" and your name

Please help it says there is an assertion error , i am trying to get a function with parameter (name) and return "hello" + name but i dont know what im doing wrong.

creating_functions.py
def hello_student(name):
    val = 'Hello', name
    return val

You're close, you need a plus sign instead of a comma (like you wrote in the question but not the code).

Plus, you'll need to be sure there's a space between the words (by putting one at the end of "Hello ").
