I don`t know what is wrong .. can`t compile..

public class Introductions {

  public static void main(String [] args) {
     Console console = System.console();
     String firstName = "Craig";
     console.pritnf("%s hi" , firstName);
 }

}

Have you imported the console class?

import java.io.Console;

Secondly on the last line there is a spelling error: pritnf should be printf

Fixed Code:

import java.io.Console;

public class Introductions {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
        Console console = System.console();
        String firstName = "Craig";
        console.printf("%s hi" , firstName);
    }
}

Simple mistake. The last line of your code has "printf" misspelled.

Matthew is right about the misspelled printf but there is one other problem. Copy-paste of my answer to prior questions follows:

In this case the challenge already imported Console and created the console object for you. The checker automatically wraps your code inside a class and method (or provides it as part of the starting code) so you don't need to create the class or the main() method. Because you're inside a method body already declaring a class like that isn't allowed, hence the error.

You just need to type the code that goes inside.
