Hi, You deleted the first part of the challenge that's why is not working. It should have both if statements

String firstExample = "hello";
String secondExample = "hello";
String thirdExample = "HELLO";


if (firstExample.equals(secondExample)) {
  console.printf("First and second are equal");
}
if (firstExample.equalsIgnoreCase(thirdExample)) {
  console.printf("first and third are the same ignoring case");
}
