- a single "=" is an assignment operator, not a comparison
- string comparisons in Java should be done with a method instead of an operator
- keywords in Java are all lower case
- the instructions ask for a do while loop instead of a conditional ("if")
- the instructions say to look for "No" (with a capital "N")
