686 PointsI don't know what you're asking for on the functions objective. I have tried for about an hour to figure out the answer
there are no errors given it is just saying "is the return value a float?
This is my answer:
int addTwo(float a, float b);
int addTwo(float a, float b) { return a + b; }

The issue is that you're declaring an int
return value -- not a float
.
You want:
float addTwo(float a, float b) {
return a + b;
}

6,646 PointsHow do you put your code into a code block? I've looked at the Markdown Cheatsheet and didn't see it. Is it the '''?

35,340 PointsYou surround the code with three back ticks (not single quotes) and then, following the first set, you can specify a language for syntax highlighting.
