Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types String concatenation

i dont know why i cant add them togheter

why cant i add strings

Hi Arzija,

there are two small errors in your code:

  1. Don't put operators like plus and minus in quotes
  2. Don't put variable names in quotes

Only put Strings in quotes

So the correct syntax would be like this:

name = "Christof"
subject = "Treehouse loves " + name
