i don't quite undestand what is this about these event listener is making my brain confused

could someone explain me better what's happening here please ?

INPUT needs to be in caps lock.

You're very close, and you have the correct conditional expression.

But the code to change the color is already there, so you don't need to add code to do that part. You just need for your conditional to enclose the existing color-changing code so it only runs when the condition is true.

Tag names are always upper case (you had that part right the first time).
