I don't see where I am wrong, still I get this message: "I do not see a period"

index.php
<?php

//Place your code below this comment
$firstName = "Rasmus";
$lastName = "Lerdorf";
$fullName = $firstName . " " . $lastName;
"$fullName" . " was the original creator of PHP." . "\n";
?>

I don't understand what you are doing with the last line. Are you supposed to be echoing it out? If so, it's missing an echo command and why are there periods in it? If you're including the variable $fullName in the sentence inside of quotes then lose the periods and you only need one set of quotes around the entire sentence, but you must echo it out.

You're almost there but you're not printing anything to screen (using echo)
