I don't understand my problem

I am stuck on this challenge

first_class.py
class Student():
    name = "Sabine"
    grade = int

    def praise(self, name):
        return "You inspire me, {}!".format(self.name)

    def reassurance(self, name):
        return "Chin up, {}. You'll get it next time!".format(self.name)

    def feedback(self, grade):

        if self.grade > 50:
            return self.praise()
        else:
            return self.reassurance()

Hi there Sabine,

you are close, you only have to use grade without the self, grade is used in your method so you don't need to call it with self.

Hope that helps.

Hi Sabine,

In the two methods you have created prior to feedback(), you include name as an argument. You are already referencing the name supplied for your class via self (take a look at your string formatting); try removing your extra method arguments and see how you fare. :) Additionally, as Dimitrios noted, you don't need to call grade with self or to include grade as a property of the Student class.
