i don't understand what i did wrong

let greeting = "Hi there,"
let interpolatedGreeting = "\(greeting), \(name)"

The last instruction said "Make sure to have a period or full stop after your name in the interpolated greeting" you just forgot a period at the end.

Hey Jasmine! I encountered someone else who did the same thing. The challenge wants you to have the interpolated string at the constant greeting. So you don't need the constant interpolatedGreeting. Like this,
