We want to display the hidden li elements.

To do this we use the syntax, $('li'). This will create a jQuery object containing all the li elements.

We want to narrow this down using the pseudo-selector, :hidden. This is a CSS trait that can be determined by the property declaration of display: none.

This means that we append the pseudo-selector string to our element string which is, $('li:hidden').

The final step is to call the show() function by appending it to our jQuery object using dot-notation (this is called method chaining). You can see this in the video @ 3:52.
