568 PointsI followed all the instructions exactly, but the images are NOT showing on my web page, WHY?????????????????????????????
Although, when I click on the image link, a new page opens up, showing the image as expected. I don't understand why this is happening.

928 PointsWhat you are doing is having the image tag is linked to the same image so, all that is going to do is open the image in another page. You do not need to have the image linked twice.
It should look like this:
<section>
<ul>
<li>
<a href="YOUR LINK">
<img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="experimentaion with color and texture">
</a> <!-- closing the link tag around the image -->
</li>
</ul>
</section>

928 PointsI can't see your code but it seems like you are using the wrong tag.
try using this.
<img src="YOUR IMAGE">
Hope fully that helps!

568 Points@Nate Look Man, I am doing exactly as directed in the videos, as a matter of fact my code is exactly the same as in the videos. Btw, what is a tag? I'm using this code: <section> <ul> <li><a href="img/numbers-01.jpg"> <img scr="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="Experimentaion with color and texture"> <p>Experimentaion with color and texture</p> </a> </li> and so on... And also, btw, how do you make your code to show like you've done?

39,021 PointsVIKALP SAXENA here's how to format your code:
```html
[your code here]
```
Note those are back-ticks, not apostrophes (` vs '). Located under the ~ on most keyboards. You can do the same for CSS - just replace html with css.

568 PointsNate Look You are exactly right. The image is showing only the next page , but I didn't actually understand your solution. Especially this part : "You do not need to have the image linked twice." I don't understand when did I link the image twice? It's only one anchor element <a> </a> around the <img > tag. And this part: "</a> <!-- closing the link tag around the image -->" <!--closing the link around the image--> AmI supposed to write it exactly as you've written.

568 PointsNate Look What am I supposed to write in the "YOUR LINK" part of <a href="YOUR LINK"> ? Is it wrong to write img/numbers-01.jpg, because that's what I am typing now.
