Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Student 4,708 PointsI followed the instruction in this video, but when i ran the program, it did not work.
here is my work:
var questions = [
['How many states are in the United States?', 50],
['How many continents are there?', 7],
['How many legs does an insect have?', 6]
];
var correctAnswers = 0;
var question;
var answer;
var response;
var correct;
var wrong;
function print(message) {
var outputDiv = document.getElementById('output');
outputDiv.innerHTML = message;
}
function buildList(arr) {
var listHTML = "<ol>";
for ( var i = 0; i < arr.length; i += 1) {
listHTML += "<li>" + arr[i] + "</li>";
}
listHTML += "</ol>";
return listHTML;
}
for (var i = 0; i < questions.length; i += 1) {
question = questions[i][0];
answer = questions[i][1];
response = prompt(question);
response = parseInt(response);
if (response === answer) {
correctAnswers += 1;
correct.push(question);
} else {
wrong.push(question);
}
}
html = "You got " + correctAnswers + " question(s) right."
html += "<h2>You got these questions correct:</h2>";
html += buildList(correct);
html += "<h2>You got these questions wrong:</h2>";
html += buildList(wrong);
print(html);
Please tell me why i got it wrong

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Student 4,708 Pointsi fixed what you pointed out, but still it does not work. I got this error Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'push' of undefined(…) for line correct.push(question);..

14,957 PointsWhen you declare it like this
var correct;
correct is undefined. Consequently you're really writing undefined.push(question).
You need to initialise the variable as an array:
var correct = [] //set it equal an empty array.

3,906 PointsCould be more than one reason, but this line has no semicolon, for starters:
html = "You got " + correctAnswers + " question(s) right."
Also you never declared 'html' using a var statement, at the top.
