4,393 PointsI have a bad case of the redesigns...feedback?
I feel like I've hit a wall in my ability to design websites, I keep trying to redesign my portfolio as I'm unhappy with it. I was wondering if anyone had any feedback as to what I can do to improve on what I have, hopefully without another redesign.

I think adding some of these [ http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/web-design-trend-2013/ ] things can help you out. Some of the main basic things I see that can use some work are that the typography is flat and the spacing needs some work. Also in design the eye likes to see things lined up so if you could like up the header text with that of the body I think it would be an improvement.
One thing i've seen that helps web design is to draw it out on a piece of paper that way you make all the aesthetic choices before you get into the coding part.
Hope that helps a bit I was just browsing around and thought I could give you a quick response.
PS. Oh and some images would really help.

Treehouse Guest TeacherI'll echo everything Michael Paguay said above, but add this: if you don't have a lot of work to show, you could consider delivering the content you have more like a blog. Instead of setting up a portfolio which would look sparse with too few projects, you can accentuate what you have and write more about what you DO have. Take some time to write about the work you did, specific problems you tried to solve, and talk about how you addressed the needs of the client, and so on.
But yes, I also agree that more images would be helpful, even if you only have 1 project up. Find some of the best screen shots you can, maybe show a before and after comparison. Anything to show your work and how it improved things would be helpful for prospective clients or employers.
Good luck!
