I have a hard time understanding the exact difference between consistency and transparancy in the named example.

What would be the best description of the difference in this example (not added to a chart is defined as a transparancy problem, not sure if the purchase got through defined as a assurance problem)

In general, "consistency" is when things are being done in a similar fashion. So understanding how one works allows you to easily interact with others. It makes sense when you are referring to a collection of things.

And "transparency" is when something is easy to understand. It could apply to a single thing or to a collection.
