Java Java Data Structures Getting There Class Review

I have an error being posted in Work Space under Java Date Structures

javac Example.java && java Example
./com/teamtreehouse/Treet.java:12: error: cannot find symbol
mDescripton = description;
^
symbol: variable mDescripton
location: class Treet
./com/teamtreehouse/Treet.java:13: error: incompatible types: Date cannot be converted to String mCreationDate = creationDate;
^
./com/teamtreehouse/Treet.java:22: error: incompatible types: String cannot be converted to Date return mCreationDate;

As for the code I have:

package com.teamtreehouse;

import java.util.Date;

public class Treet { private String mAuthor; private String mDescription; private String mCreationDate;

public Treet(String author, String description, Date creationDate) { mAuthor = author; mDescripton = description; mCreationDate = creationDate; } public String getAuthor() { return mAuthor; } public String getDescription() { return mDescription; } public Date getCreationDate() { return mCreationDate; } }

So why will it not recognize a member variable? I thought I followed Craig to a T but nothing I try will fix it.

You have a typo in there - the field is declared with the name mDescription, but in the constructor you're trying to assign the value of your argument to mDescripton (so there's an i missing).

Thank you for pointing that out! I have been too distracted by the wrong error message to notice that! Almost there then.
