471 Pointsi have created a variable 'profitPerUnit' and have to divide the profit by the quantity but its not allowing me to
var profitPerUnit = parseInt (quantity) / parseFloat (profit);
var wholesalePrice = 5.45;
var retailPrice = 9.99;
var quantity = 47;
var salesTotal = parseFloat(retailPrice)* parseInt(quantity);
console.log(salesTotal);
var profit = parseFloat(salesTotal) - parseFloat(wholesalePrice) * parseInt(quantity);
console.log(profit);
var profitPerUnit = (quantity/profit);

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Student 17,885 PointsGot it right but you're overdoing it. Take out all the type conversions and the challenge will accept your answer just fine.
var salesTotal = retailPrice * quantity;
var profit = salesTotal - wholesalePrice;
var profitPerUnit = quantity / profit;
Javascript actually handles all the type conversions behind the scenes, so you don't have to worry about all that. The exception is when your final answer must be in a certain form.
Bonus, this makes it easier to read your code!
