I HAVE CREATED A VERY SIMPLE WEBSITE, vijayportfolio.com is my website but i could not find my profile pic and URL

Make sure your path is correct and the text is the same on both the file and path.

If the image is not in the same directory you will have to go up a directory. To do so add ../ to the file path.

See if this works for you:

I see your index.html file is in the portfolio folder.

Place your img folder in the portfolio folder and make sure that the name of your image file is correct. What format is the file is it a .jpg file or is it a .png or .gif?

So to confirm: Is the img folder in the portfolio folder?

If not, place it there with the image file inside it.

Is the file type JPEG (.jpg)?

If not use the correct file extention replace .jpg in the code below with .png or .gif

use the code:

Hi vijay chekuri,

Your code is correct but from what I can see the image you're referencing isn't in the img folder on your server, double check it exists and if not uploading it should do the trick.
