iOS Swift 2.0 Basics Swift Types Recap: Swift Types

I have no idea what is wrong with my code, when i run this in Xcode it runs fine, but treehouse won't take my answer..

Am I mis-interperating the question?

types.swift
// Enter your code below
let firstValue = 30
let secondValue = 45
let product = firstValue * secondValue

let output = "\("The product of") \(firstValue) \("times")  \(secondValue) \("is") \(product)"

Hey there,

I'm really surprised this did run fine in Xcode. In the code, you are trying to 'interpolate' the strings as well as the variables, when only the variables can be interpolated. The interpolated and complete string should only have 1 opening quotation mark and 1 closing quotation mark, and only the variables should have the \() surrounding them.

Please see the corrected code below. I hope it makes sense. :)

let firstValue = 30
let secondValue = 45

let product = firstValue * secondValue

let output = "The product of \(firstValue) times \(secondValue) is \(product)"

Keep Coding! :dizzy:
