555 PointsI have var result = greeting("Tom") but it tells me it's the wrong value for result. Why is that?
Am I missing something obvious with this code for Challenge 2
func greeting(person: String) -> (greeting: String, language: String) { let language = "English" let greeting = "Hello, (person)"
return (greeting,language)
}
var result = greeting("Tom")
func greeting(person: String) -> (greeting: String, language: String) {
let language = "English"
let greeting = "Hello, \(person)"
return (greeting,language)
}
var result = greeting("Tom")

50,595 PointsHi sarahhale !
In Challenge Task 2 of 3 "Create a variable named result and assign it the tuple returned from function greeting. (Note: pass the string "Tom" to the greeting function.)" you inserted a comma after the "Hello" by mistake and the challenge didn't like that. Everything else looks good.
func greeting(person: String) -> (greeting: String, language: String) {
let language = "English"
let greeting = "Hello \(person)"
return (greeting, language)
}
var result = greeting("Tom")
