I included the image using the <img> element and when I previewed from the workspace, it just showed little image icon.

I included the image using the <img> element and when I previewed from the workspace, it just showed little image icon. It did not show the real image.

Here is the code, it is bounded in unordered list <li> <a href = "img/numbers-01.jpg"> <img src ="images/._numbers-01.jpg" alt = ""> <p> Experimentation with color and texture. </p> </a> </li>

Try deleting the white spaces around the = sign so it looks like href=" instead of href = " and same for alt="" Hope that works

Hello Akshar, did you make sure you placed your images into the img folder before trying to show them on your webpage?

Check your syntax. I had the same problem and realized I had put <img src="img/number-01.jpg"alt"">. "number" should be "numbers". Always check for syntax errors. For me, it is always something simple.
