I installed MAMP on my Mac, changed preferences to port80,but each time I launch MAMP it prompt me for my password, why?

This problem doesn't happen with regulars port... Can I do something to fix this ? Thanks

On all *ix based systems (like BSD Unix based OSX) listening to ports under 1024 requires superuser (i.e. administrator) access. So it is asking for your password to make sure it's authorized to run on port 80.

Ok, so I will deal with it. Thank you

Hello, I changed ports to 80 and my MAMP is not starting anymore? How can i get my Mamp starting again?
