I just finished the entire track for iOS development with swift. I feel comfortable with swift, and I've also watched the "Whats new in Swift 2.0" video to have an heads up for that.

However, I wonder if there are any other courses or tracks on treehouse I should get to know. I want to learn more about iOS development, especially animations and frontend.

Also, is it necessary for me to take the courses about Obective-C. I understand that app development today may be at the expence of implementing some Objective-C in my swift project to obtain certain functionality not yet defined / converted to Swift. But is Apple moving away from this so that I just can stay clear of Objective-C?

Thanks for any advice in advance.

Congratulations! Quite the accomplishment.

Amit wrote a blogpost answering the question of Swift v Objective-C. You can search for it, but if memory serves he recommends having some Objective-C under your belt.

Why? Objective-C is what the overwhelming majority of apps have been written on, so knowledge of that is pretty clutch when dealing with apps currently on the market. Swift will eventually take over, but no idea when that will be.

Adding Objective-C to your toolbox will help make you a complete and well-rounded iOS developer. Good luck!
