Python Flask Basics Welcome to Flask Request args

i keep getting an error and it right @app.ro

please help

@app.route('/')
@app.route('/<name>')

    return 'Hello {name}'.format(name)

You are getting this error as you should only be using one @app.route() declaration above a function for this challenge. (It should be the '/' one)

Also, the challenge is asking you to use request to get the name from the query string. Check out this link for more details about using request.args, essentially it looks at the URL thats been given and splits it up into component parts. Example the route might look like: /name="Shawn"
