JavaScript JavaScript Loops, Arrays and Objects Tracking Multiple Items with Arrays Build a Quiz Challenge, Part 1 Solution

I keep getting errors in the console section like these : Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token :var ,< , <=

var quiz = [ ['what is 5+5 ',10], ['what is 8+8 ',16], ['what is 9+9 ',18], var question; var answer;
var response;
]; for (var i = 0 ,i < quiz.length , i++ ) { question =quiz [i][0]; answer = quiz [i][1]; response = prompt(question);

}

Your for loop statements should be separated by semicolons not commas. Also your closing bracket on your array should come just after ['what is 9+9 ',18].

var quiz = [ ['what is 5+5 ',10],
            ['what is 8+8 ',16],
            ['what is 9+9 ',18]]

var question;
var answer;
var response;

for (var i = 0; i < quiz.length; i++ ) {
    question =quiz [i][0];
    answer = quiz [i][1];
    response = prompt(question);
}
