i think it's write. it looks right but it says it isn't

34,341 PointsThe variable num should be declared before the for loop. Also, the last semicolon in your for loop isn't needed. Only the first two are needed, like so: for (i = 0; i <= 12; i +=1) { console.log(num +=2); }. That should help.

You want to use a for loop for this challenge, but you do not need to set an additional variable for the count, this wil all be done internally in the for loop. You would set your initial variable to 2, run the loop as long as the variable to less than 25 (because you want it to go to 24, your loop would only go to 12) and then increment the variable by 2. Inside the loop, you will want to use console.log to output the variable.
for (var i = 2; i < 25; i += 2) {
console.log(i);
}
