Java Java Objects Harnessing the Power of Objects Throwing Exceptions

i need help on this one

please help me resolve the problem

GoKart.java
class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private String color;
  private int barCount;
  private int lapsDriven;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    this.color = color;
  }
  public void drive(){
    if (lapsDriven>MAX_BARS){
     throw new IllegalArgumentException("too much");
    }

  }
}

What is it you're trying to do?

Ok I see, you're on the right lines except the task asked you to throw the exception if the barCount goes below zero. So you need to amend your if statement to check if barCount is less than 0. I won't give you the answer but hopefully, this helps.

yeah i have done it thanks mate
