I need help please

Please help me with my suto code, I love tree house. But, I can't seem to call back the float. I hope that you will use visual examples. much love

The problem is you are trying to put a name of a variable as a returning type of a method but in the challenge they ask you to create such a method that has a parameter of type float, makes some calculations with it and then returns another float back. The right syntax is following:

-(float)calculateTip:(float)subtotal {
  return subtotal * 0.2;
}
