I need help with this strptime problem
This is how far I am.
## Examples # to_string(datetime_object) => "24 September 2012" # from_string("09/24/12 18:30", "%m/%d/%y %H:%M") => datetime import datetime to_string(datetime): return datetime.strptime('2012-09-24', '%d-%b-%Y')
You're not far at all, in fact, you're at the beginning. In the previous video, Kenneth literally solves this challenge in the first two mins of the video. Do this;
1) Watch the video again.
2) Go to Python strftime reference sheet for strftime formatting strings.
import datetime def to_string(datetime): return datetime.strptime('2012-09-24', '%d-%b-%Y')👈# Just use the strftime formatting ("%d %b") instead
If you need further help, let me know.
