I started the how to build a website thing and accidentally deleted my index.html file. Is there any way to get it back?

Yes, in video's there is a download section you can get it from there.

Just under the video theres a tab for download and theres a file called project file just download that and your good to go. Nick has all this through his videos and updated as well covering the last lesson, if you ever get lost.
