I stop my course and i forget other things who can help me here.

Initialize the showFactButton variable using the findViewById() method like the TextView above it. The ID for the button is showFactButton, and don't forget to cast it to a Button with (Button)!
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.view.View;
import android.widget.Button;
import android.widget.TextView;

public class FunFactsActivity extends Activity {
  private TextView factTextView;
  private Button showFactButton;

    public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {

        // Declare our View variables and assign them the Views from the layout file
        TextView factLabel = (TextView) findViewById(;

        Button showFactButton = (Button) findViewById(;

Hi Jorge;

You need to remove these lines: findViewById(R.Button) because with the line above you can pass the challenge Button showFactButton = (Button) findViewById(; this findViewById(R.TextView) is also unnecessary.
