I think my method getRemainingCharacterCount() should work?? However when ever i try to submit it says bummer! try again

I pretty much wrote the request in the title. The method should work I think, but it wont allow me to pass the test. Can someone please review my code for the given method and try to help me figure it out? Thanks in advance :)

NVM i figured it out, im actually retarded, why was i trying to use a while loop :'D EDIT: typing out your problem usually is the best remedy after all ..
