iOS Swift Functions and Optionals Parameters and Tuples Named Parameters

I thought I was passing the string “Jerry” function but the result keeps on saying “Hello /(person)”

Same as above

named_parameters.swift
func greeting(#person: String) {
    println("Hello /(person)")
}
greeting(person:"Jerry")

you used the wrong slash for interpolation. use \ for interpolation, not /

func greeting(#person: String) {
    println("Hello \(person)")
}
greeting(person:"Jerry")

Oh yeah! I was having similar issues with string interpolation. It sucks that my computers backslash is under the delete key :(

Arman

Thank you both for the help, really appreciate it. Hey Preston, what does the MOD by your name stand for?
