I tried $newDate = new DateTime("2014-10-14"); I don't get whats wrong with this...

I also tried it with defining the date in rawStr, but that didn't work either.

What do I do wrong?

I too have noticed this bug when I tried going through the course just now. I've reported it to the correct people and hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Ok scratch that, it's been removed for now until it can be completely fixed. Carry on!

Alright, thanks Phil :)
