I want to get better

I finished the Beginning JavaScript track here, but i have this feeling like i still don't know anything.

I know i have to do projects to get better, but i can't think of any. And when i do think of anything, i already feel like i can't do it.

This is super annoying and super "impostor syndrome-ish".

Dis anyone else have this feeling when they started? And if you did, how do you get over it and practice JavaScript effectively?

I think nearly everyone feels like that as they are first learning, it's totally normal!

And for extra practice, There are a number of online coding challenge sites. One I've enjoyed that has challenges at all levels (and for 20 different languages!) is Codewars.

  • You may try their Full Stack JavaScript TechDegree, there are 10 projects for you to finish and have peer reviews.
  • Since they have 7 days free trial, just try it, downgrade if it does not work for you.
