General Discussion

I want to learn languages on Treehouse!

I think that there are two main players on the market worth trying: busuu and duolingo but none of them provide grammar explanation. Just flashcards and QA to memorize words. I should imply the grammar from it. I want to learn Chineese in Treehouse style. By the way, cards might be a good strategy to memorize API. I want video that explains every API function in brief. More video, more clients, more money.

Finally, I had a site called StructuredThought. It's approach to life that can be applied to education. It's natural view on life and god and things and etc. I want natural learning!

Let me provide brief explanation of my words.

a) First - structure. The education material at the begining should provide structure that connects to the natural processes. For example, programming is a tree. The root is hardware and software layer. The body of the tree is the fundamentals of the programming. Inside the body there are processes. For example, if statement - when the tree gets the sunlight it has several ways to dedicate its resources. There is a natural logic where these resources go. I personally think that there is a one right source code for one application that goes natural way. Look at the old dead leaves of the three this are concepts that haven't fit in the language and become unsupported.

b) Second - delivery. You can create a graphical game where a girl plays with a tree and learn basic functions of programming. For example, we present the cut of the tree and looking at the tree circles inside the body of the tree we learn history of the language. This approach can be used in Virtual Reality. Imagine a game where you study and take care of the tree and see how the natural processes inside the tree relates to the programming. Listening, every programming languages can be converted into the music. I mean that every programming language has its style and we can record a CD with Java for example. Other, ways of human communication can also be considered: other senses. It's a future.

c) Client analysis. Everybody should take a test before beggining of the study to understand the structure of the thinking of the client to make a decision about how to give a material. Dynamic content that tailored to user thinking and experience. Client may provide a personal story to the Treehouse. From thess examples that are deeply lies inside the memory of the client we can construct the knowledge by making examples from user exprience. When I studied MBA I proposed social network for small children. Concept is long and there a lot of features. I also want to study simply and naturally. Hope I can contribute a little!

And thank you Dave McFarland for a JavaScript course! This is what a call natural thinking and education!

All the best!

Hey, Andrei! Just a little constructive criticism for you:

This would be much easier on the eyes (and brain) if you broke it into multiple paragraphs. Or provide a TL;DR summary.

Cheers! :)

Thank you Rich. I was exhausted. Corrected some grammar mistakes. Let me know if you find something. I was looking for a resource like a Treehouse for a long time and I was really tired of looking. Treehouse is not ideal. But I want to build a place for a normal learning. And I want Treehouse to expand and not to be limited to programming. Other areas also are in scope of my interest. I am really passionate about the service. And don't know how to say thank you to Treehouse developers. Anyway, my goal is to make this site better.
