I want to make sure if the user put in only none zero integers, but when it comes to zero, it wont loop, why?

while True: coeff = input("Coeff(non-zero integer)") if coeff[1:].isdigit() == True and coeff[:1] == "-":
break elif coeff!=0 and coeff.isdigit() == True:
break elif coeff==0 and coeff.isdigit() == True:
continue

when input is zero, i want it to loop again, but it doesnt why?

I think you're overcomplicating it.

while True:
    coeff = input("Coeff(non-zero integer)")
    if coeff == 0:
        print("it's not zero")

This will do what you wanted, it will keep reprompting the user, if the input is 0.
