10,317 PointsI was on php track then jumped here before learning jquery basics
I really learned alot and hooked on javascript now! Should I finish up the php development track or do some more javascript courses before going to jquery basics in the php dev track?

Courses Plus Student 16,352 PointsIt sounds like your momentum is toward JavaScript / jQuery, so unless there's a compelling reason that you need to focus on back-end technologies, then I say go for the jQuery! It makes HTML manipulation a delight, in addition to AJAX, and basic animations.
Don't neglect PHP though, it's an important staple in server side tech. Perhaps alternate between jQuery and PHP? Doing so will bring you closer to becoming a full stack developer.

10,317 PointsThanks I am more then half way through the php dev but I feel sadly I didn't retain the php information I feel like I don't remember anything I learned. It was based on the fact I got stuck on the simple code challenges and would end up googling the answers I approached it wrong but learned my lesson with this javascript course. I used to do flash way back when and I feel javascript will help me bring that unique no holds bar design and animation to my work. I am thinking of taking the full stack javascript track after the php either that or the wordpress development. At my current job I am I create wordpress custom sites but trying to break the use a theme and css !important it to death method. Decisions, decisions...
Actually I need to learn this its saying before the jquery it recommends I learn this one http://teamtreehouse.com/library/javascript-loops-arrays-and-objects
I don't want to become too bogged down on programming language its easy to get them confused, so php and java for now I did create a ruby on rails blog before but it seems its better not to try to learn to much at once.
