Idea for New Treehouse Feature

I think Treehouse could benefit from a system which periodically checks to see if you've retained information. I'm thinking specifically of the way that Khan Academy handles this with their newish World of Math system. The greatest focus is always on what's being presently learned, but there are also questions about material covered in the past. This really helps the information stick over time.

Treehouse is already great. This could make it even better.

I like your idea and would like to expand. I normally, review the videos but i think a structure of homework on the videos would be a good way to practice. I already love the schedule we now have to give us time management on each project or track. Repetition is important, so a way to show your homework. I like the contests, they are also good at showing what students have learned. My concern is on the details of retention. Such as, understanding the foundations of a method, variables, code . Maybe they could be broke down to more details to understand the whole so that retention is easier. If i understand how something works i am a problem solver. :)
