<?php
$name = "Mike";
 if ($name == "Mike")
{
echo "Hi, I am Mike !";
}
?>

Make sure semicolon is placed at the end of echo statement

Ali, just tried you code in the code challenge and it failed. You need to remove the space between "Mike" and the exclamation point for it to pass.

From what I see, what you typed seems to be good. However I did the exercise and It worked with it.

<?php

$name = 'Mike';

if($name == 'Mike'){
  echo  "Hi, I am Mike!";
}

?>

Nope he typed the echo statement in a wrong way. He forgot to place the semicolon at the end of it and also removing the semicolon after the curly brackets.
