How is this code wrong?

Conditional.java
int numberOfPeople =3;
if(4<numberOfPeople){ console.printf("Your table is ready\n");}

you have to use " < " not ">" a and with this order first : "numberOfPeople" then "4", if you switch it it will no works ( in real life it will works but in TeamTreeHouse nop ).

use

int numberOfPeople = 3;
if(numberOfPeople < 4)  { 
    console.printf("Your table is ready");
}

this is reason why you should use your own Workspace on your for example IntelliJ because this error check in teamtreehouse is not perfect also in RealLife Console no works in Real IDE :) in real IDE you have to use System
