Im confused as to how to retrieve the data from the array and add it to counter index. Any help would be appreciated.

I completely forgot how to retrieve data from an array and add it to another variable. Any help would be appreciated.

loops.swift
let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

// Enter your code below

while counter < numbers.count {

Hello Armando,

What you want to do is use the "counter" as the source for the index to retrieve an object or "value" from the array, and then use that to add.

var numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

while counter < numbers.count {
    counter += 1
    sum += numbers[counter - 1]
}

Hope this helps you with your question
