I'm new to coding. Where should I start to create web-app. Full question inside

Hello,

So I'm really interested in learning to code. Could you give me a little information where should I start and which language I should learn based on my goals?

I want to create web-application where people could list their ads and sell stuff. Basic ad webapp.

Could it be created using only python? Or I can even create it with wordpress? Please give me as much information as you can, it will help me a lot! Thanks.

Probably the front-end web development track would be a good thing to look at and see if it is the kind of thing you need. Javascript, Ruby on Rails, HTML/CSS are probably the things you should start with. But if you get advice from someone with more experience in that area then do what they say(obviously). But I feel like the majority of answer would to just start at the Front-End Web Development track. Hope that helps, or at least points you in the general direction :)

Really depends on what you would like to do. Make you can go into a bit more detail about what you are doing with them. If you are only displaying them you will get by with HTML, CSS and Javascript plugins, however if you are planning on doing stuff like sorting, deleting, database work then i suggest you have a look at a one of the languages to start you on your journey.
