Java Java Data Structures Exploring the Java Collection Framework ArrayLists

I'm not exactly sure why I'm getting the error message that I forgot to add the getExternalLinks Method. Anyone ?

I thought I had this one down but I can't really figure out why I'm getting this error message. Any help would be appreciated. Take pity, I've been doing this for the last two weeks. Still trying to retain everything.

com/example/BlogPost.java
package com.example;

import java.io.Serializable;
import java.util.*;

public class BlogPost implements Comparable<BlogPost>, Serializable {
  private String mAuthor;
  private String mTitle;
  private String mBody;
  private String mCategory;
  private Date mCreationDate;

  public BlogPost(String author, String title, String body, String category, Date creationDate) {
    mAuthor = author;
    mTitle = title;
    mBody = body;
    mCategory = category;
    mCreationDate = creationDate;
  }

  public int compareTo(BlogPost other) {
    if (equals(other)) {
      return 0;
    }
    return mCreationDate.compareTo(other.mCreationDate);
  }

  public List<String> getWords() {
    String[] words = mBody.split("\\s+");
    return Arrays.asList(words);
  }

  public List<String> getExternalLinks(String http) {
    List<String> results = new ArrayList<String>();
    for (String link : getWords()) {
      if (link.startsWith("http")) {
        results.add(link);
      }
    }
    return results;
  }

  public String getCategory() {
    return mCategory;
  }

  public Date getCreationDate() {

Figured it out. I over complicated the problem. (-_) *doh!

Hi Christopher,

It looks like you have an unnecessary parameter in your method declaration.

 public List<String> getExternalLinks() {
      // rest of your code
 }

Caught it 15 minutes after posting the question lol. Thanks for the quick response though! Nice to know that you guys are actively answering questions.

It always feels better to figure out errors on your own, haha.
