I'm not sure why this isn't working?

it says : Bummer! Didn't get the right values from first_and_last_4.

it works if I put the code into idle but not in the challenge

slices.py
def first_4(num):
    return num[0:4:1]

def first_and_last_4(num):
    x=num[0:4:1]
    y=num[-1:-5:-1]
    return (x+y)

try a more simple way "return num[-4:]". Maybe you get that Bummer because you'r "y" returns the list inverted.
