Python Web Development Techdegree Student 8,096 PointsI'm supposed to clear: left; on every 4th listed item within #gallery. Why is that not happening?
If I was to guess, the problem is selecting li within an existing #gallery li.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 15,705 PointsYou need to make sure you create a separate CSS entry for both even though they are both targeting the list items in the gallery.
Good luck.
@media screen and (min-width: 480px) {
#gallery li{
width: 28.3333%;
}
#gallery li:nth-child(4n) {
clear: left;
}
}

16,594 PointsI had trouble getting it to pass also. putting an n after the 4 (4n) seemed to help, but it took a couple of tries. Kinda odd. That is, I tried it..it failed, tried it again...it passed.
@media screen and (min-width: 480px) {
#gallery li {

#gallery li:nth-child(4n) {
clear: left;
}
}

Python Web Development Techdegree Student 8,096 PointsI figured I was overlooking something. But I had actually overlooked three things. I had a period instead of a colon between li and nth-child, I missed the 'n' in '4n' and I didn't know to put the nth-child thing on the same line as #gallery.
